When bride Daphne told me she was having a Lake Simcoe wedding, I had NO idea how absolutely gorgeous this setting would be. I had my wonderfully talented associate photographer Ally May capture the day, and when I got the images from her, my eyes kept popping out of my head.
Daphne and Erik, you nailed it. The details were so beautiful. From the dress, to the exposed gold candles, to the super rad neon sign, everything was gorgeous. And let’s take a minute to talk about this “cottage”. I think you may be getting few requests from other couples to rent out the space! Not only was it the perfect venue, but getting married at a place that means so much to you and your family is truly special.
Being the creative control freak I am, it’s not easy being 150 km away from a wedding, but having Ally there to capture it puts me at such ease. She’s so dedicated, is always in the right place at the right time, is fabulously artistic with her composures, and is just an all around great person to be with on a wedding day. I have the utmost confidence in giving her to my clients.
