Elaine Overholt – My Mama

It’s not every day that I get to photograph one of my most loved people in the world, Elaine Overholt! Also known as my Mom. 

For her 39th (ahem) birthday present, I thought I’d treat her to some new photos. It wasn’t just a vanity project, my Mom happens to be one of the most highly sought after vocal coaches in the country, and needed new images for the re-branding of her website. 

The day was super fun! Jen Fisher rocked the hair and make-up, and my Mom is no stranger to the camera.

When we were all packed up and ready to leave, she turned to me and said, “That was fun, and we didn’t fight once!”  I had to remind her that I’m not an angsty sixteen year old anymore.
