Chateau Le Parc Wedding Photos | Serena + Julian

What a way to end the wedding season! This October Chateau Le Parc wedding had everything a photographer could ask for. Stunning florals, the best dressed and most fun bridal party, a beautiful couple, and a nighttime snow storm.

The Couple

It would be hard to find two people more in love than these two. Ten years and counting, Serena and Julian met in high school and have been going strong ever since. Even after all these years, they’re still each other’s favourite people.

Serena’s one of those girls that you want in your squad. Fun, kind, and genuine. After the vintage Moet was popped and poured, Serena handed her glass to one of her bridesmaids, and said, “Here. I only like cheap champagne.” You’re my kinda lady, Serena.

Julian, it’s clear how much you love this girl. And how much everyone around you loves you both.

The Details

The weather forecast leading up to this late October day was not looking very friendly. It was going to be cold, windy, and wet. But the skies parted at the absolute perfect time. It was dry when we travelled to the church, and stayed that way up until we were done photos in the stunning pine grove at Kortright Centre.

When I arrived to Serena’s mom’s condo in the morning, the dress was waiting for me, already beautifully hung in the immaculate space. Serena had sourced a pretty ring box, a gorgeous mirrored tray for styling, and of course Louboutins. Basically, every photographer’s dream getting ready space.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, you can’t buy taste. You either have it, or you don’t. And this wedding had it. From the dress to the flowers, to the stationary, to the bridesmaids wearing leather jackets, I couldn’t have asked for anything more. My camera feasted on everything, from morning until night.

The Moments

There are too many to last, so I’ll just name my favourites.

  • When Julian saw Serena for the first time, walking down the aisle. It’s the reaction every bride dreams of.
  • When Serena’s sister Alanna (or her true soulmate) saw her in her dress for the first time.
  • When the groomsmen scooped Serena up in the middle of the forest, to her surprise.
  • When the couple shared their first dance, and literally everyone cried.
  • And perhaps my personal favourite, WHEN THERE WAS A FREAK SNOW STORM. Scroll to the end for that one.

The Team

As always, perfect days like this Chateau le Parc wedding are only possible due to a great team.
