Toronto Island Engagement Shoot | Audrey and Justin

If you’re looking for inspo on how to plan for your engagement session, this is it. Audrey and Justin’s Toronto Island engagement shoot went absolutely flawlessly.

The Details

Both Audrey and Justin are originally from Minnesota, and currently find themselves in Toronto where Justin plays professional hockey. To document their time here, Audrey thought the Islands would be the perfect location. The islands have such a wide range of scenery, from the lake, to the sandy forest area, to the best view of the skyline Toronto has to offer.

It may look like this was a breezy summer’s day, but it was actually 9 degrees out (that’s about 50 degrees fahrenheit for our American friends). An unseasonably cold fall has made engagement shoots a tad tricky. These guys were troupers!!

Audrey planned this one out beautifully. The three outfits were perfect, and complimented the area’s colours and backdrops amazingly well. And in her bag she had a hair brush, hairspray, an extra pair of shoes, makeup, and even a tiny water bottle just in case they got parched.

As you can see from the photos, they were an absolute dream to shoot with!

It’s worth the short trip over on the ferry, even when it is a tad chilly.
