Robert and Wei, you are funny, kind, genuine souls, and I’m so glad you found one another. Your spring Graydon Hall Wedding was everything a photographer could ask for.
I first met this lovely couple in a cozy coffee shop in freezing December, and instantly knew we would click. The talked out all their plans and what they wanted out of their photography as Robert cracked a few jokes along the way.
Their engagement session in Yorkville took place just a few weeks later. It was chilly one! But they toughed it out and looked flawless while doing so. I couldn’t wait for warmer weather, and to shoot with them again.
What can I say, other than you both are gems. You showed such kindness to everyone around you on your wedding day, and you are well loved.
And warmer it was. In an unusual early April heat wave, the couple got the wedding day of their dreams.
The birds were chirping, the flowers just about blooming, and love was in the air.
Karina Lemke, wedding designer extraordinaire, planned every little last detail to reflect not only the beauty of the season, but the couple themselves. The flowers, the drinks, the invitations, the seating chart – everything was gorgeous. Even the chapel where the ceremony took place matched their theme.
Cocktail hour outside in spring? Yes please.
My heart is still glowing from this day, with all it’s pretty spring details, lovely moments, and beautiful people.
If only every spring Graydon Hall wedding could be like this one!
