St. Basil’s and Liberty Grand Wedding | Bridget + Jeff

There are certain days where every other photo you take makes your heart flutter with excitement and beauty, and this Liberty Grand wedding was one of them.

Bridget and Jeff created a day that was so filled with love, classic vibes, and gorgeous details. Any time an Oscar de la Renta dress is featured, you know it’s gonna be a great day.

The Day

In typical Toronto weather fashion, the report was all over the place. In the days leading up, it said it was going to thunderstorm. Reeeaaallllly thunderstorm. But as you can see, that couldn’t have been farther from the truth!

The rain held off until well after the reception started, and we got a glorious early summer day.

You can’t get much better than the Ritz-Carlton as a spot to get ready in. And Osgoode Hall is always a favourite to do portraits. Especially if you’re going for that timeless vibe.

St. Basil’s Church at St. Michael’s UofT is my favourite church in the whole city. It has a gorgeous bright white interior, and it’s right in the middle of UofT so you have tons of pretty little spots around for photos.

The Liberty Grand wedding reception suited their aesthetic perfectly.

The Details

So, let’s start with this dress. Oscar de la Renta for the win! It was classic, regal, and feminine. It fit Bridget like a glove!

The lovely people at Princess Weddings sent along some styling flowers, which went a long way towards making the already gorgeous bridal details that much more beautiful.

But maybe my favourite detail of the day was the bottle of whiskey Jeff and his groomsmen opened while getting ready. Jeff’s father Larry bought it the day Jeff was born, to be opened on this very special occasion. Best idea ever!

The Couple

It was so lovely to see these two together. The happy tears were flowing, especially during the ceremony. You couldn’t help but sense the love in the room.
