Creating is one of my passions. There’s nothing like having a vision, letting it swirl around in your head, and executing it. In this styled shoot for The Wedding Planner Magazine, the creative juices were overflowing!
The theme for the fall issue was going to be ‘carnival’, so along with girlboss Dina from Hand in Hand Wedding and Events, we dreamed up this idea. We wanted something with colour, class, and fun mixed with a little vintage.
I REALLY wanted natural light for the shoot, so we decided on setting up a make shift set at a travelling mini carnival that landed in Toronto. Models Liron and Jess, both represented by Sutherland, got ready under a tent, and were beautified by wonder woman Maryellen from The Art of Make-Up and Hair. We had to be careful not the let the incredible dessert spread by The Sweetest Thing melt under the hot summer sun.
Florals by Melina Eglite, jewelry by Lily Jewellery, stationary by Paper Damsels, and dresses supplied by Richmond Hill Bridal Boutique.
Of course we were hoping to get the cover, and were delighted when we saw the unveiling! Keep your eyes peeled at Chapters/Indigo.
The eight page spread couldn’t be more perfect.
And here are a couple more of my faves that didn’t make the publication. Yes, that’s a cupcake bouquet!
Huge thanks to the team, and the magazine!
