A few weeks ago I wrote about the importance of creating a vision board for upcoming shoots. So important, in fact, that I decided to write about it again!
When planning for this shoot with the lovely and fun Jamie and Mike, they warned me about their awkwardness in front of the camera. About 85% of my clients say the exact same thing, so they certainly weren’t alone in their trepidation. But EVERYONE feels awkward in front of the camera. As the photographer, it’s my job to make my clients feel more comfortable.
Creating a vision board can take away a lot of the guess work associated with an upcoming shoot, and put your clients a bit more at ease. Plus, it lets the photographer focus more on the clients because they already have their vision in mind.
This is what we came up with.
….and the results! They look anything but awkward to me.
