I actually teared up while writing this post, straight up. Laura and David’s stunningly, ridiculously beautiful tented Graydon Hall wedding was everything. The perfect day could not have been granted to a nicer couple.
I don’t often get emotional at weddings, I have a job to do! But something about how warm the couple was, along with their friends and family, made me feel extra invested in this day.
Laura and David met at university in Ottawa nearly a decade ago while they were living in the same house! They’ve been lovebirds ever since.
They are kind, generous and very much in love.
It’s clear from how excited and thrilled their family members and friends were, it was a match made in heaven. . .or at least at a student house somewhere in the nation’s capital.
Anyone who follows my work knows I love this place, but this day was extra gorgeous.
The entire team, led by Rebecca, did an amazing job at making sure Laura and David had the tented wedding of their dreams. The food, the service, the decor was exceptional as always. And that tent! What a way to make sure a wedding can be enjoyed on the terrace, under the trees.
Believe it or not, this wedding had a ton of DIY elements. It’s hard to tell by how professional everything looked.
David became the laser cutting king, making every one of the names for place settings. And his father custom built the arbour for the ceremony.
The faded pastels, the vintage glassware, the SHOES, and everything else was so perfectly curated. Laura looked 100% in her two piece gown.
And you may have notices a Robot and Rabbits theme. Yep! It was something to do with nicknames? Or something like that? I’m not quite sure. But it was super cute.
