Are you looking for an interesting and creative, yet warm and inviting atmosphere in which to exchange vows? Look no further than the iconic Steam Whistle Brewery. Most people will not immediately associate a brewery with romantic nuptials, but that's what makes the Steam Whistle Brewery all the more unique!
real weddings at this venue
The Roundhouse that the Steam Whistle Brewery is housed in once served as the Canadian Pacific Rail company's steam locomotive repair facility. Today it is working on a new chapter of Canadian history as the home of Steam Whistle, named for the factory whistles that signalled the end of a workday. Today, visitors to the Steam Whistle Brewery can expect a glass of Canada's best Pilsner and a friendly "cheers" from the Steam Whistle staff--affectionately termed The Good Beer Folks.
Of the Steam Whistle Brewery's three event spaces, two are ideal as wedding venues:
The Roundhouse Hall is The Steam Whistle Brewery's most versatile premier event space. This 4000-square foot space can be designed to any specifications, with a capacity for 500 people standing, or 250 for a seated dinner. It features 30-feet-high train doors and a 2000 square foot outdoor cobblestone patio with a stunning view of the city skyline beyond.
The Roundhouse Mezzanine is the newest event space at The Steam Whistle Brewery, located on the second floor above the gallery and hall. This room features floor-to-ceiling glass windows that overlook breathtaking views of the Roundhouse Park, the Toronto skyline, and the gallery and hall below. The room includes four custom 8-foot tables made of reclaimed bowling alley lanes which seat 8-10 guests each, as well as 40 chairs and four bar stools, privacy blinds, a stainless steel bar, and more.
